We are a lean, hungry team that builds impactful software and draws powerful insights from complex data. We are a passionate group of artists, rocket scientists, teachers, and public health researchers with some crazy stories to tell. Nearly everyone at Development Seed is a builder with some blend of design and engineering skills. We process, analyze, and visualize data that is constantly changing and improving, so we build our team with folks who are always willing to adapt and evolve.

We’re interested in the best ideas and the right solutions, and we don’t let ego or the status quo get in the way of pursuing them. We work as a team, so instead of a manager, you’ll have a group of collaborators to help and challenge you to produce the best possible tools aimed at some of the world’s hardest problems. We minimize time spent in meetings, and prefer to communicate through GitHub, Slack, and concise daily scrums.
